Aurecon's Environment and Planning Advisory team seeks an experienced Senior Urban Planner to lead statutory and strategic planning across energy, water, government, aviation, transport and resources. You will manage large, multidisciplinary projects from inception to approval and help grow client relationships.

You will drive business development, mentor junior planners, and contribute to cross-market opportunities while delivering integrated planning advice.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory and strategic planning across complex infrastructure
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams
• Track record in winning new work and building client relationships
• Deep knowledge of planning and environmental regulatory frameworks
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills at senior levels
• Commitment to developing others and fostering a high-performing team
• Bachelor's degree or higher in urban planning or environmental planning

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure and precinct-scale projects across statutory planning, regulatory approvals, strategic planning, feasibility and environmental assessment
• Drive business development - identify opportunities, pursue bids and strengthen market presence
• Build planning capability by mentoring junior planners and expanding statutory and strategic planning offerings
• Advise clients through complex regulatory requirements and approval pathways with credibility
• Connect the business by delivering integrated planning advice across markets
