Job summary

WSP is expanding its urban and regional planning and environmental science team in Queensland and seeks a Senior Planner to shape the state's future. You will support key clients on major infrastructure across transport, energy, landfill, and property, embedding within client teams to deliver practical planning solutions.

With 10+ years in urban, regional, or infrastructure planning, you’ll bring consultancy focus, strong Queensland policy knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in urban, regional, or infrastructure planning.
• A planning degree and eligibility for PIA membership.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland planning legislation and policy.
• Experience managing or coordinating projects and teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative approach and attention to detail.
• Proven consultancy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality planning advice for major transport infrastructure projects.
• Integrate with the client team to provide consultancy support.
• Lead or support planning project delivery with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with clients and regulators to deliver practical advice.
• Contribute to business growth through proposals and new opportunities.
• Work with teams to deliver outcomes for communities and the environment.
