Job summary

Cavfield is partnered with a leading Sydney architecture and design practice to recruit a senior Urban Designer for its multidisciplinary studio. You will lead significant urban design and masterplanning projects, build trusted client relationships and help guide and develop a talented team.

You may currently be Senior Urban Designer, Senior Associate, Associate or Associate Director, or be ready to step into Principal level.

Qualifications

• Experience across complex urban environments and a mix of residential and mixed-use, education, community, civic and infrastructure-related projects.
• Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from early thinking through to delivery.
• Navigate complex client, authority and stakeholder environments.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and bring different design disciplines together.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships.
• Mentor and develop other designers.
• Balance ambitious design with the commercial realities of delivering great work.

Responsibilities
