Job summary

2XM Recruit in Sydney seeks a Senior Urban Civil Engineer to lead civil design for land development from concept through construction. You will drive client relationships and project delivery across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, coordinating with engineers and drafters on diverse urban projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, review designs, and contribute to project management and bidding efforts.

Qualifications

• Australian consulting experience across urban/land development projects.
• Broad design experience across stormwater, drainage, grading, earthworks and civil infrastructure.
• Strong civil design software capability such as DRAINS, MUSIC, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of civil engineering designs from concept through to detailed design and construction.
• Develop practical solutions for grading, drainage, access, earthworks and servicing.
• Review and oversee designs produced by engineers and designers.
• Provide technical guidance across multiple projects.
• Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Liaise directly with clients, councils and authorities; attend project meetings.
