Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of underground mining and ground support projects at Olympic Dam, one of the world’s largest and most complex underground mining operations.

This role requires a results-driven leader who prioritises safety, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver successful project outcomes from mobilisation through to completion.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Project Manager within underground mining.
• Experience managing ground support contracts and/or underground mining projects.
• Knowledge of contract management, project delivery, and underground mining methods.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading underground mining and ground support projects from planning to execution.
• Driving safety, operational performance, and project success.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, reporting, and commercial outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinating project resources, schedules, and site operations.
• Leading and developing high performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, and company requirements.
