Darling Downs Radiology is seeking a Tutor Sonographer in Toowoomba to blend hands-on clinical scanning with educating postgraduate and undergraduate students. You will mentor learners, support competency assessments and help shape the future of sonography within a leading radiology network.

The role combines clinical practice with education, offering ongoing professional development, access to advanced imaging technology, and a supportive, collaborative culture across IDX.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma or Master of Medical Sonography (ASAR accredited).
• Minimum five years' clinical sonography experience.
• Genuine passion for teaching, mentoring and developing others.

Responsabilités

• Delivering one‑on‑one clinical training to postgraduate student sonographers.
• Mentoring undergraduate sonography students during clinical placements.
• Supporting competency assessments, progress reviews and ongoing professional development.
• Coordinating student workflows, diary management and learning opportunities.
• Participating in IDX education programs and tutor forums to enhance training standards.
• Maintaining balance between clinical scanning and education in a collaborative environment.
