Qualifications
- Extensive experience in transport operations and traffic engineering.
- Tertiary engineering qualification with Victorian professional registration.
- Proven experience leading and developing technical professionals.
- Strong knowledge of road safety, traffic management and parking matters.
- Ability to develop budgets and deliver minor capital works.
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of traffic and transport engineers.
- Oversee traffic management, road safety and parking investigations.
- Apply engineering judgement to identify practical transport solutions.
- Lead investigations and provide technical advice to stakeholders.
- Analyse crash data and transport trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Inform capital works prioritisation and investment decisions.
- Build relationships with community, developers and agencies.
- Oversee public lighting budgets and service delivery.
