Job summary

Zinfra, a leading Australian energy and utilities infrastructure partner, is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to shape and deliver major transmission projects.

You will provide technical input across bids, detailed design and delivery, collaborating with clients and contractors to develop practical, constructible engineering solutions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering preferred; electrical or related may be considered.
• Experience in transmission line design within electricity or energy infra environments.
• Knowledge of Australian/international design standards and tendering/governance requirements.
• Experience with PLS CADD and PLS Tower.
• Experience with Space GASS is a plus.
• Experience supporting major bids and EPC projects with technical solution development.

Responsibilities

• Develop transmission line design solutions across bids and major project delivery programs.
• Lead technical input into tenders, value engineering, constructability reviews and risk assessments.
• Provide expert review of design deliverables, calculations and technical documentation for quality and compliance.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and project teams to meet programme and engineering objectives.
• Contribute to development of engineering standards, tools and capability uplift across the function.
