Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a Senior Engineer (Traffic and Road Safety) to lead safety and efficiency of the region's transport network. You will deliver complex traffic and road safety assessments and manage major infrastructure projects across transport corridors.

Working with government agencies and stakeholders, you provide technical leadership, drive innovative transport solutions and ensure governance and regulatory compliance. A Criminal History Check is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide authoritative technical leadership and influence decisions across stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of transport legislation and road safety standards.
