Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to influence a Safety First culture across a diverse workforce. You will provide expert WHS advice, conduct incident investigations, hazard management, safety training and workplace inspections.

This role offers a permanent full-time position in Rockhampton with a 9-day fortnight, a salary range of $107,154 to $111,619 plus superannuation, and a range of employee benefits including payroll options and leave loading.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing workplace health and safety advice.
• Proven ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing recommendations.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, hazard identification and risk management.
