Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a Technical Officer – Corridor Management in Rockhampton. The role focuses on traffic management, corridor management, and regulatory compliance to keep transport corridors safe and efficient.

You will assess permit applications, provide technical advice, monitor compliance, and support major projects, working with stakeholders across industry and government to deliver practical outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management, corridor management, civil infrastructure or a related field, supported by relevant qualifications and an understanding of applicable legislation, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess permit applications and monitor compliance for road reserves and transport network.
• Provide technical advice and support major projects.
• Engage with developers, utility providers, contractors, government agencies and community to achieve compliant outcomes.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver practical, customer-focused solutions in a regulatory environment.
