Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Consulting team. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients in designing, developing, and implementing automated tests for their software products. You will work closely with client teams to understand requirements and provide customized automation solutions. You will also oversee test automation management, including managing automation projects, frameworks, and ensuring quality and reliability of automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of client testing processes.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to ensure quality and reliability of client software products.
• Manage test automation projects, oversee automation engineers, and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and tools to meet evolving client needs.
• Provide training and mentorship to client teams on test automation best practices.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Senior Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience in test automation management, including overseeing automation projects and managing automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python AND/OR TypeScript programming languages.
• Understanding of design patterns and clean coding concepts.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright for Web testing, Appium for Mobile testing, and Behave for API testing.
• Experience in coding, amending, and refactoring moderately complex programs/scripts.
• Experience with testing delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with automation/DevOps tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with version control software (e.g. GitHub).
• Experience in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent client-facing communication.
