Bridge IT Engineering is seeking experienced Senior Test Analysts to support a Federal Government client in Canberra or Melbourne. The role focuses on testing and quality assurance in security-focused ICT environments, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and managing defects.

Candidates should have ISTQB or equivalent, strong Jira/Confluence experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills to ensure traceability from requirements to test outcomes.

Qualifications

• : Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst within complex ICT delivery environments.
• : Relevant testing certifications, such as ISTQB, or equivalent practical experience.
• : Strong experience using Jira and Confluence, including end-to-end defect management.
• : Sound understanding of cloud-based environments, system integrations and downstream impacts of change.
• : Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• : Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
• Conduct system integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, prioritise and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and technical stakeholders to understand system architecture, integrations and dependencies.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, acceptance criteria and test outcomes.
• Produce high-quality testing documentation, reports and metrics.
• Coordinate testing activities, manage priorities and evaluate testing outcomes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
