Job summary

Kinexus, partnering with the Australian Signals Directorate, seeks TSPV-cleared Senior Test Analysts to determine and carry out testing activities validating system design and behaviour. This 12-month contract allows 2 x 12-month extensions, located in Canberra (ACT) or Melbourne (VIC).

A TSPV clearance is required. Key duties include stakeholder liaison to define acceptance criteria, collaborating with development teams, designing and executing test strategies and plans, performing SIT and UAT,

Qualifications

• Must hold TSPV clearance for Defence-related work.
• Experience with test strategy development and execution in complex systems.
• Ability to lead testing activities across multiple teams and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to define measurable acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture and impacts.
• Design, maintain and execute test strategies, plans and cases including regression tests.
• Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Manage defects from identification through verification of fixes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, criteria, test scenarios and cases.
• Select and document appropriate testing techniques and methodologies.
• Produce high quality test artefacts: plans, reports, metrics.
• Ensure acceptance criteria and definitions of done are met.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities, allocate work, set priorities, evaluate outcomes.

Job description

We've partnered with the Australian Signals Directorate, who are seeking TSPV-cleared Senior Test Analysts to determine and carry out testing activities to validate the design and behaviour of systems and services.

This will be an initial 12-month contract role with 2 x 12-month extensions, available in either Canberra (ACT) or Melbourne (VIC). Candidates must have a TSPV clearance.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Liaise with key stakeholders to understand business risks and impacts; and to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for new or enhanced software features.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture, integrations, constraints, infrastructure, risks and downstream impacts of change.
• Design, maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans and test cases; including regression testing to ensure ongoing system stability and quality.
• Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing for new features, enhancements and defect fixes.
• Manage defect identification, analysis, logging, prioritisation and verification of fixes through re-testing.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and test cases.
• Select, apply and document appropriate test techniques and methodologies to support effective test coverage.
• Produce and maintain high quality test artefacts; including test plans, report and metrics.
• Ensures acceptance criteria and definition of done are clearly understood, agreed, documented and met.
• Leads and coordinates testing activities by allocating work and resources, setting priorities, developing test strategies and evaluating testing outcomes against business objectives.
