Job summary

WSP Australia is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to lead the design, integration and delivery of telecommunications systems across a diverse portfolio, with a primary focus on Data Centres and Aviation.

You will manage multiple projects, mentor junior engineers, engage with clients, contractors and stakeholders, and ensure technical excellence, cost efficiency and timely delivery within a collaborative, high‑performing team under a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering mission critical projects in Telecommunications/ICT for Property and Buildings.
• Experience in data centres, transport, healthcare and/or aviation.
• Experience in Australia within an engineering consultancy is essential.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and manage construction phase services.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Lead small to medium-sized design projects and support larger programmes with timely delivery.
