Job summary

Frankston City Council in Victoria is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic technology and organisational improvement initiatives within the Technology and Innovation Department. You will develop project plans, schedules and governance artefacts, coordinate resources and vendors, and drive delivery that is sustainable.

The successful candidate will have governance, procurement and risk management knowledge; the ability to translate technical concepts into business language; and

Qualifications

• Understanding of project governance, procurement, risk management and change management principles.
• Understanding of contemporary technology environments and digital service delivery.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
• Strong business analysis and process improvement capability.

Responsibilities

• Development of project plans, schedules, governance artefacts, risk registers and implementation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate project resources, stakeholders and vendors to ensure projects are delivered effectively and sustainably.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of Council's project delivery, business analysis and governance practices.
