Job summary

Seers Digital, Canberra, is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Specialist to design, deliver and support enterprise solutions for a government client. This hands-on role blends development, integration, platform administration and governance, with technical leadership across teams.

You will work with stakeholders to translate needs into practical solutions, ensure security and architecture standards, and help strengthen internal capability while advancing end-to-end delivery

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, customizing and developing Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
• Proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse for app design and data modelling.
• Ability to manage Dynamics 365 environments, security and governance.
• Strong integration skills using APIs and REST services.

The opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Senior Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Specialists to design, deliver and support enterprise solutions for a government client.

This is a hands-on role combining development, integration, platform administration and technical leadership. You’ll work with business stakeholders and delivery teams to create secure, scalable and maintainable solutions while strengthening platform governance and internal capability.

What you’ll do

• Design and deliver solutions: Build and configure Dynamics 365 applications, including Customer Service, alongside model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and scalable Dataverse data and security models.


• Connect enterprise systems: Develop APIs, custom connectors and integrations across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure and other business systems.


• Maintain reliable platforms: Manage environments, monitor performance and availability, resolve complex incidents and defects, and deliver releases, upgrades and platform updates.


• Provide technical leadership: Guide architecture, design standards and solution quality. Establish reusable components and sound engineering practices.


• Strengthen governance: Support environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention policies, connector governance, solution registration and sustainable citizen development practices.


• Improve delivery practices: Implement application lifecycle management, source control, release management and CI/CD processes.


• Build team capability: Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and maintain technical and operational documentation.


• Partner with stakeholders: Translate business needs into practical solutions, provide estimates and recommendations, and communicate technical risks clearly.


• Meet organisational requirements: Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, accessibility, records management and architecture standards.

What you’ll bring

Demonstrated experience in:

• Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation and development, including Dynamics 365 Customer Service.


• Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, including application design, automation, data modelling and security.


• Power Platform environment management and Dynamics 365 and Power Platform security administration.


• Enterprise integrations using APIs and REST services.


• Troubleshooting complex application, integration and performance issues.


• Technical leadership, mentoring and effective engagement with business and technical stakeholders.

Highly regarded

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Graph, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF), Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE), or Australian Government ICT environments.
