Job summary

Queensland Health in Australia is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our enterprise IM/ICT team. You will promote standards, coordinate build and implementation of technical solutions, and ensure effective delivery across large-scale projects.

The role focuses on risk management, change management, incident response, and capacity planning within an ITIL framework, with opportunities to influence policy and collaborate with stakeholders across government.

Qualifications

• SFIA TECH level 5 knowledge and experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure for a large customer-focused environment.
• Ability to analyse IT system issues and design effective solutions.
• Knowledge of CyberArk PAS is highly regarded.

• Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning using ITIL best practices

Job description

• Promotes and utilises appropriate IM/ICT standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures effective application of these on project deliverables.
• Coordinates the build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks
• Installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of technical specialties and provides sound advice and recommendations regarding their application
• Support the development, publication, implementation and compliance of project deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level
• Undertake the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific components in proposed implementations
• Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably in the ITIL framework

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

• Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focused organisation. (SFIA Code: ARCH 5; METL 5)
• High level understanding and working knowledge of relevant technology domain (SFIA: TECH 5)
  • Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Solutions;
  • Network Security and Firewall Management;
  • Microsoft and Unix Server Management
  • Windows 10
• Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements. (SFIA: METL 4).
• Ability to work individually and within a high performance team with time critical tasks and complex deliverables (SFIA:PRMG 4) (NHS Self-Management) (NHS Collaborative Working)
• Excellent communication, liaison and negotiation skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of clients and stakeholders (SFIA: RLMT 4).
• Knowledge and certification in CyberArk's PAS Solution will be highly regarded.
