Job summary

Tomago Aluminium is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical & Business Improvement Advisor to join our Business Improvement team. This role partners with operations, maintenance and technical teams to identify opportunities, challenge current practices and deliver meaningful improvements.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, influence technical decision-making through analysis and benchmarking, and connect people, processes and technology to drive performance and long-term

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical, operational excellence or business improvement roles.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business improvement initiatives across the site.
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Coach leaders and teams in Lean, problem-solving and business improvement methodologies.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational performance and efficiency.
• Influence technical decision-making through analysis, benchmarking and best-practice recommendations.
• Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and technical innovations that support Tomago’s future success.
