Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Civil Infrastructure Designer to lead multidisciplinary design and delivery on Defence, transport and EDQ projects across Queensland. You’ll routinely apply 12d modelling and AutoCAD to coordinate design across engineering teams and with clients.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with multiple disciplines, and take advantage of AECOM University for professional development. Flexible hybrid work options support work–life balance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure developments, including Defence projects.
• Strong proficiency in 12d and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships while delivering results within tight timeframes.
