Job summary

Arup is seeking a senior ecologist to provide technical leadership for its Queensland ecology team, guiding study design, impact assessment and reporting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality ecological outcomes across transport, water, waste and renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will mentor ecologists, develop guidance, and collaborate with business leaders to secure major contracts while supporting project delivery and proposals.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of relevant ecology experience with leadership on complex projects.
• SQP status for protected plants in Queensland is favourable but not mandatory.
• Experience leading technical reviews and regulator-facing deliverables.
