Job summary

SKL Technology is seeking an experienced APS6 Technical Business Analyst to undertake complex technical business analysis work within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will work under limited direction with autonomy to deliver outcomes aligned with legislation, policies, standards and methodologies.

The role focuses on translating business needs into technical specifications, conducting workshops, modelling processes and data, and ensuring ITSM practices are integrated into solution

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on complex IT projects.
• Experience on cloud infrastructure projects.
• Experience in complex programs and establishing or structuring business analysis processes.
• Strong experience in process mapping and documentation.
• Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence within Agile or specification-driven delivery environments.
• Experience within a large enterprise environment incorporating ITSM practices, including change management, service requests and incident management.
• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting the delivery of large and complex AWS or Azure-native systems.
• Experience using Generative AI and driving specification-driven/design-first practices.
• Experience designing and implementing the safe and robust integration of Generative AI tools into the software testing lifecycle to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, discover, define, validate, priorities and continuously manage business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
• Synthesize complex business and technical requirements and communicate them in clear, straightforward terms.
• Provide input during the solution design phase to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and undertake business analysis activities, including business process modelling, requirements lifecycle management and data modelling.
• Support team members in effectively documenting systems and solutions that are developed, delivered and maintained.
• Work with an outcome-focused approach, effectively challenging business requirements while maintaining a strong customer focus.
• Continuously monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work effectively across complex enterprise programs and multidisciplinary technical teams.
