Job summary

West Recruitment is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead infrastructure initiatives focused on performance and reliability. You will administer Windows Server and Linux environments, and work with VMware vSphere/NSX, Veeam, and Citrix to support critical business applications.

Collaborate with Security, Networking and Architecture teams on improvement projects and manage external service providers to ensure highly available enterprise infrastructure.

• Previous experience in large corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity planning.
• Maintain secure infrastructure aligned with cyber security best practice.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide senior technical escalation.
• Work with Security, Networking and Architecture teams on infrastructure improvement projects.
• Manages external Service Providers supporting the infrastructure managed services in controlled environment.

About You

An experienced Engineer with broad technical exposure to infrastructure and hosting environments. You have a track record of delivering uplifts that underpin successful operating environments.

You will be familiar with the following:
