Job summary

Shield AI’s Australian Engineering Team is seeking a senior systems engineer to design and integrate solutions across the Hivemind Vision and autonomy stacks. You will help mature capabilities for key customer programs and internal R&D initiatives.

In this role you will capture end-to-end requirements, develop architectures spanning perception and mission workflows, and document using MBSE, SysML, and UPDM. You will work with product, program, and test teams, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in systems engineering with a related degree.
• Experience with MBSE and system modeling workflows.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture end-to-end system requirements for vision systems and integrated autonomy.
• Develop and maintain system architectures for perception, autonomy, and workflows.
• Create SysML models with emphasis on decomposition and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report status to leadership.
• Support evolution of systems engineering processes in Australia.
