ManpowerGroup is recruiting for Senior Systems Analysts to join a major federal government digital transformation program. The role focuses on translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration across architects, developers and stakeholders.

You will work on enterprise platforms, modernising business systems and delivering innovative digital services in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' recent experience as a Senior Systems Analyst in a large/complex environment.
• Strong experience working in Agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving capability.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and leads on high level and detailed designs.

We are seeking experienced Senior Systems Analysts to join a major federal government digital transformation program delivering secure, reliable and sustainable enterprise systems that support critical policy, regulatory and program outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large scale enterprise platforms, modernising business systems and supporting the delivery of innovative digital services within a complex environment.

• Initial 9 month contract
• Up to 2 x 12 month extension options
• Hybrid working arrangements
• Preferred locations: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
• Minimum 2 days per week in the office
• EL1 equivalent level opportunity
• Baseline Security Clearance required

The Role

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will act as the critical link between business and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, technical leads, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high quality system designs, technical specifications and enterprise solutions across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.

You will also provide leadership and guidance to other analysts, support production issue investigations and contribute to the successful transition of new solutions into business as usual operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on high level and detailed solution designs
• Facilitate technical workshops to define system requirements and specifications
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs
• Develop and support reusable enterprise design patterns
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical standards
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to deliver accessible and user centred solutions
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Lead root cause analysis and investigation of production issues
• Support the transition of project deliverables into BAU support
• Produce and maintain system documentation including:
  • System Requirements Specifications
  • Functional and Technical Design Documents
  • Data Models and ERDs
  • Database Schemas
  • Interface Specifications
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and feature decomposition
• Conduct peer reviews and support quality assurance activities across delivery teams
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and contribute to capability uplift within the broader team

Essential Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years' recent experience as a Senior Systems Analyst within a large and complex government or enterprise environment
• Strong experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams
• Proven ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem solving capability
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Experience managing competing priorities within fast paced delivery environments
• Demonstrated capability across the full range of Systems Analyst responsibilities

Highly Desirable

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM experience
• Power Pages experience
• Dataverse experience
• Azure DevOps experience
• SQL and Teradata knowledge
• Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
• Exposure to API integrations and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
