Job summary

Firmus Technologies in Sydney is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure across regional offices. Reporting to the CTO, you will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud services while enforcing security baselines.

You will design and operate identity and endpoint management using Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure AD, and Intune, ensuring high availability, incident response readiness, and strong governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a System Administrator role within a corporate, multi-site environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with hybrid identity, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure AD, Intune and secure endpoint management.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with incident response and disaster recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure IT infrastructure across regional offices.
• Administer servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Implement identity and endpoint management with M365/Azure AD/Intune.
• Lead security hardening, threat detection, and DR tests.
• Provide incident response and stakeholder communications.
