Reserve Bank of Australia in Baulkham Hills (Sydney) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the CoreMod Server Decommissioning work stream, leading decommissioning of virtual/physical servers and infrastructure appliances, and ensuring safe retirement per SOPs.

You will coordinate across VMware, Windows Server, and RHEL environments, manage CMDB and asset records, coordinate with Networks, Security, Storage, IT Operations and Asset Management, and contribute to risk and change

Qualifications

Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi and enterprise virtualisation.
Experience administering Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, monitoring and backup tools.
Understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management and CMDB upkeep.

Responsabilités

Lead the decommissioning of virtual and physical servers and infrastructure appliances.
Validate migration completion, business readiness and dependencies before retirement.
Coordinate decommissioning across VMware, Windows Server, RHEL and compute platforms.
Maintain CMDB, asset records and support procedures throughout decommissioning lifecycle.
