Equity Trustees Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator on a 9‑month fixed-term contract to support the stability, security and continuous improvement of our technology environment. The role combines BAU infrastructure work with cloud, cybersecurity and AI initiatives, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Team Leader.

You will manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and Entra ID, while driving automation and security uplift across the estate.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Systems Administrator or Senior Systems Administrator role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and identity-related technologies.
• Support enterprise networking, firewall and security platforms.
• Lead vulnerability remediation, patching and security uplift activities.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Contribute to cloud transformation, cybersecurity and AI-related projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver technology outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and processes.
