Pantoro Gold is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead surveying across multiple underground operations, delivering accurate, timely and compliant survey services while mentoring teams.

The role combines hands-on technical surveying with leadership, aiming to improve standards and drive safe production across Pantoro's underground assets.

Qualifications

• Mine surveying qualification in underground hard rock mining.
• Grade 1 Authorisation.
• Experience in underground mining, preferably gold.
• Knowledge of statutory surveying requirements.
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously while influencing teams across sites.
• Mentoring and developing mining professionals.

About the Role

The Senior Surveyor will provide surveying expertise across multiple underground operations, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant survey services that support safe and efficient mining.

This is a leadership role offering the opportunity to influence best practice, drive continuous improvement, and mentor surveyors across the business while remaining hands on with technical surveying activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surveying support across multiple underground mining operations.
• Maintain accurate mine surveys, plans and spatial databases.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company survey requirements.
• Implement and maintain survey standards, systems and procedures.
• Support mine planning, development and production activities.
• Drive innovation through the adoption of new technologies and surveying methodologies.
• Mentor, coach and develop surveyors and graduate survey professionals across the business.
• Build capability and consistency across operations through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Work collaboratively with mining, geology and technical services teams to optimise outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced underground surveyor who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and developing people.

You will bring:

• Relevant qualifications in Mine Surveying, Spatial Sciences or equivalent.
• Grade 1 Authorisation
• Demonstrated experience in underground hard rock mining, preferably gold.
• Strong knowledge of statutory surveying requirements.
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to work autonomously while influencing teams across multiple sites.
• A passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of mining professionals.
