Job summary

Geely Auto is seeking an experienced Inventory/Distribution Planner to analyse stock, forecast demand, and allocate inventory across dealers and distribution centres. You will monitor ageing stock, backorders, and constraints, and coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and dealer teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution, inventory planning, supply chain, logistics, or data analysis.
• Automotive industry or dealership-network experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP, inventory-management, or business-intelligence systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse vehicle inventory, dealer demand, sales trends, and forecasts.
• Recommend stock allocations across dealerships, regions, and distribution centres.
• Monitor stock levels, ageing inventory, backorders, and supply constraints.
• Prepare regular distribution, inventory, and delivery-performance reports.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, supply-chain, production, and dealer teams.
• Investigate delivery delays, allocation issues, and inventory discrepancies.
• Support new-model launches and seasonal distribution planning.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess stock, lead times, and logistics costs.
