Job summary

Geely Auto Australia is seeking a seasoned Distribution & Inventory Planner to optimize vehicle stock, forecast demand, and coordinate across sales, logistics, and production teams in our Sydney office.

You will monitor inventory levels, support new model launches, and drive opportunities to reduce lead times and costs using Excel, ERP, and BI tools. This full-time role offers a modern office near Macquarie Park and close proximity to transport.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution, inventory planning, supply chain, logistics, or data analysis.
• Automotive industry or dealership-network experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP, inventory-management, or BI systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Relevant qualification in business, supply chain, analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyse vehicle inventory, dealer demand, sales trends, and forecasts.
• Recommend stock allocations across dealerships, regions, and DCs.
• Monitor stock levels, ageing inventory, backorders, and constraints.
• Prepare distribution, inventory, and delivery-performance reports.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, supply-chain, production, and dealer teams.
• Investigate delays, allocation issues, and inventory discrepancies.
• Support new-model launches and seasonal distribution planning.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess stock, lead times, and logistics costs.
• Maintain accurate data in planning and reporting systems.
