Job summary

ACCIONA Infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Contracts Administrator to own the contract lifecycle on a project, negotiating subcontracts, managing variations and claims, and protecting ACCIONA's rights. You will work with operations, finance and legal to improve procurement and commercial outcomes.

The role provides exposure to tendering, procurement and risk, with monthly project economic reporting and a clear path to delivering value for money on major infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Administrator, Commercial Administrator or similar contract management role.
• Experience managing contracts within construction, engineering, marine, resources, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to obtain a successful National Crime Check and Pre-employment Medical

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, award and execute subcontracts and other significant procurement packages
• Administer subcontracts day to day to protect ACCIONA's rights and obligations
• Manage variations, claims and contract documentation
• Identify, log and reduce contract and supply chain risks
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate proposals for value for money outcomes
• Build supplier and stakeholder relationships that improve quality and value
• Control costs, forecast and report monthly on project economic performance
