Job summary

Mayfield Group Holdings seeks a Senior Structural Project Engineer to drive high‑quality structural design across diverse projects in Australia. You will oversee technical execution, mentor team members, and collaborate with clients, consultants and builders to ensure safe and compliant outcomes.

You will apply AS standards, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and optimise fabrication, transport, and installation processes while upholding schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years' experience in structural design and project engineering (steel structures).
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software, preferably Space Gass.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, construction methods, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design across multiple projects to deliver on time and budget.
• Review drawings, calculations, and 3D models for accuracy and constructability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and draftspeople.
• Engage with clients/consultants/contractors to resolve technical queries and drive value.
