Aurecon Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team in Sydney or Newcastle. You will lead design and analysis of concrete and steel building structures, deliver documentation, and provide construction-phase support.

This role emphasizes collaboration, coaching of junior engineers, and contributing to sustainable, carbon-neutral infrastructure. Your experience with large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams will help shape the Aurecon way.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a Structural Engineer role with Building Structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Experience on large multi-disciplinary projects and coaching talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of concrete/steel building structures.
• Deliver design documentation including drawings, specifications and reports.
• Provide construction-phase support on projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee calculations and details.
