Job summary

Nastasi Consulting Group Pty Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a Structural Engineer to contribute to residential, commercial and industrial projects from our Newcastle office.

You will work on high-end homes, apartment towers, industrial complexes, service stations, clubs and childcare centres with autonomy and clear career progression. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of post-graduate experience are required, along with WHS compliance and permanent Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil & structural engineering (required).
• 3–5+ years post-graduate experience as Structural Engineer, ideally from a consultancy/design background.
• Sound knowledge of relevant design codes & design manuals.
• Excellent computer skills including computer analysis of 3-D structures.
• White Card and WHS requirements.
• Permanent/full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Preparing sketches for draftsmen to CAD.
• Site inspections.
• Liaising with Customers & Stakeholders.
