Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience within an Australian engineering consultancy.
• Solid technical background in commercial, residential or other significant building structures.
• Experience with ETABS, SpaceGass and RAPT would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and graduates.
• Confidence managing technical design, project delivery and competing priorities.
• Some client interaction experience, or a genuine interest in developing this capability.
• Ambition to progress into Associate-level leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Leading structural engineering design and delivery across significant building projects.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers and graduates.
• Managing project programmes, design quality, documentation and deliverables.
• Undertaking structural analysis and design across concrete and steel building structures.
• Working closely with experienced senior engineers and Directors.
• Developing stronger client relationships and becoming increasingly involved in client-facing responsibilities.
• Contributing to a collaborative, professional and high-performing engineering team.
