Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1–2 years’ relevant structural engineering experience, or strong graduate.
• Interest in structural engineering and construction.
• Willingness to learn and develop technically.
• Good communication and practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Australian Standards and residential construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Structural design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• Prepare and coordinate structural documentation.
• Liaise with architects, builders and consultants.
• Attend site inspections to gain practical construction knowledge.
• Increase project responsibility as experience develops.
