Job summary

PCR Talent is seeking an ambitious Associate Structural Engineer to lead a growing team in Sydney. The role combines hands-on structural engineering with leadership to mentor engineers and designers, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering projects efficiently.

You will shape the structures team, mentor others, and progress toward Principal and Director as the business expands. Australian consultancy experience and collaborative leadership are key.

Qualifications

• Strong Australian consultancy experience in structural engineering, building structures.
• Experience leading engineers and coordinating project teams.
• Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Experience with ETABS, RAPT, SpaceGass or similar software.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with leadership and project management.
• Mentoring others and building a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Structural Engineers and Designers.
• Hands-on structural analysis, design and problem solving.
• Build and maintain client, architect and consultant relationships.
• Coordinate resources to deliver projects efficiently and commercially.
• Create a positive, supportive team environment.
• Collaborate with senior management on growth of the structural division.
