Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Perth team. You will deliver industrial structural design for mining and heavy industry projects, work directly with clients on-site, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with global teams.

You will bring strong experience with AS 4100/3600 and 1170 series, perform site visits, and contribute to concept through detailed design, including FEED and brownfield work. This role requires travel to sites across Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with structural/civil specialization.
• 8+ years of structural design experience in industrial projects.
• Proven experience with mining/heavy industry sectors.
• Willingness to attend client sites and liaise with customers in operating environments.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards AS 4100, AS 3600 and AS/NZS 1170 series.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering services compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
• Design industrial steel and concrete structures for greenfield and brownfield projects (concept to detailed design).
• Prepare analyses, calculations and technical deliverables per standards.
• Review colleagues' engineering work and provide guidance.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Conduct asset condition assessments and integrity reviews on operating assets.
