Job summary

MLEI Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer on the Gold Coast to lead projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support. You will foster client relationships, guide project teams and contribute to technical excellence within a collaborative national consultancy.

You will mentor junior engineers and drive business development while delivering safe, cost-effective building solutions that meet Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Chartered status is highly desirable.
• 8+ years' local structural design experience in the building sector.
• Proven track record in project delivery and client-facing roles.
• Proficiency with Inducta Suite (RCB, SLB, PTD), ETABS, RAPT, SpaceGass and RAM.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder management.
• Ability to develop project scopes of works and proposals.
