Job summary

RS Eng Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of complex structures in Australia. The role requires collaboration with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and to mentor junior engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 7+ years of structural design experience, CPEng eligibility, and proficiency with SAP2000/ETABS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in structural design and engineering.
• NZ standards knowledge or willingness to apply.
• CPEng or eligibility.
• Prepare calculations and designs, and review drawings.
• Proficient in structural analysis software such as SAP2000/ETABS.
• NZ resident or valid working visa.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and analysis of complex structures.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
