Job summary

RS Eng Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of complex structures in Australia. The role requires collaboration with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and to mentor junior engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 7+ years of structural design experience, CPEng eligibility, and proficiency with SAP2000/ETABS.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.


• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in structural design and engineering.

• Have CPEng or be ready to apply.


• Prepare calculations and designs, and review drawings.


• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).


• Strong understanding of building codes and standards (experience in NZ specific standards preferred).


• Experience in seismic assessment of Potentially Earthquake Prone Buildings will be an advantage.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Manage structural projects from start to finish.


• Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Stay up-to-date with current industry developments and advancement.


• Must be an NZ resident or have a valid working visa.
