Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (minimum).
• Professional Engineer registration (NER); Chartered status or RPEQ highly regarded, or genuinely working towards.
• 6-10 years’ local structural design experience within the building sector.
• Proven track record in project delivery and client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SpaceGass and RAM (Revit/BIM coordination experience well regarded).
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams.
• Strong understanding of lateral stability design of large buildings, including earthquake requirements and wind loading.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to develop project scope of works and proposals.

The Role

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to take ownership of projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support, while building a leadership profile within a collaborative, technically strong team.

This position is responsible for:

• Lead project lifecycles from concept through to detailed design and construction support, ensuring outcomes are safe, cost-effective, and compliant
• Manage, maintain and grow trusted relationships with clients and project partners
• Contribute to technical excellence and innovation within the team
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
