Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking an experienced Strategic People & Culture Business Partner to provide high-level workforce and organisational advice to Executive and senior leaders. You will shape workforce strategy, support service design and program transitions, and ensure approaches align with funding, regulatory requirements and priorities.

This 6-month max-term contract is a full-time opportunity with a faith-based organisation offering generous benefits and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
• Significant experience in a senior HR role or strategic equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive and senior leaders to shape workforce strategies.
• Provide proactive, evidence-based workforce insights to inform decisions.
• Advise on workforce risks, opportunities, and trends across the business group.
• Contribute to strategic planning, service design and tender readiness.
• Lead development of sustainable, compliant workforce models aligned to contracts.
• Guide leaders on complex workforce scenarios and industrial matters.
