Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a Senior Development Engineer – Stormwater and Flooding to assess development proposals for environmental and engineering impacts. You will prepare and review plans and provide specialist advice on flooding and water quality, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate holds a civil or environmental engineering degree and is experienced in stormwater and flooding assessments.
• Proficiency with hydraulic/hydrologic software such as Drains, TurFlow, ArcMap, HEC-RAS, and MUSIC is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability.
