Job summary

Novus Pathway is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (C# / .NET) to join our Sydney engineering team. This hands-on role emphasizes building reliable, scalable enterprise applications and improving release processes.

You will define SLIs/SLOs, drive observability with OpenTelemetry, and lead incident response while collaborating with software engineering and production support teams. Sydney-based, fixed-term contract with a competitive base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience across SRE, DevOps, platform engineering or software development.
• Strong hands-on C# and .NET development experience.
• Experience implementing OpenTelemetry and observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Drive observability improvements using OpenTelemetry.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Reduce operational overhead through automation and improved deployment practices.
• Improve reliability and performance across .NET applications.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve release processes and operational readiness.
