GV Health invites applications for a Senior Speech Pathologist in the Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Clinic. This part‑time, permanent role focuses on autism assessments and neurodevelopmental evaluations within a multidisciplinary team, based at Graham Street.

The successful candidate will hold Speech Pathology Australia registration, have expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, and be skilled in child development and communication.

Qualifikationen

• Registration with Speech Pathology Australia is required.
• Experience with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, especially Autism.
• Knowledge of child development and communication skills; ability to contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.

About the department and role:

The Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Clinic (NPC) is part of the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYMHWS). It is comprised of a multidisciplinary team which focuses on the provision of predominently Autism assessments when there is a diagnostic dilemma. The NPC is looking for an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist who is passionate about working with children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Expertise in the provision of Speech Pathology assessments and participation in Multidisciplinary Team Discussions is a key part of the role.

The successful candidate will have:

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
• Knowledge and aptitude in the field of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and in particular Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Sound knowledge of child development, with particular emphasis on communication skills.
