Job summary

MedHealth Group on the Central Coast is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Central Coast region. You’ll work close to home in a supportive, multidisciplinary team and deliver community‑based therapy.

As an experienced clinician you will mentor graduates, contribute to team development and grow professionally while helping participants achieve communication, independence and participation.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership (SPA).
• Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills for varied caseloads.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardized assessments to develop participant-centered goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to build communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience and goals.
• Support growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians.

• Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
