Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, seeks a Specialist Case Manager for Corella Place in Ararat, VIC. You will deliver high-quality case management to a caseload of high-priority sex offenders, under post-sentence supervision, aligned with Corrections Victoria's Offender Management Framework.

You will demonstrate outstanding engagement and reporting skills, prepare briefings and correspondence, and maintain meticulous CCS offender files, while adhering to rostering and staffing

Qualifications

• Advanced case management of highly complex individuals with needs assessment skills.
• Experience working within a legislative framework.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a caseload of complex, high-risk and high-profile sex offenders who are subject to post-sentence supervision, to promote compliance with order obligations and promote behaviour change.
• Promote and demonstrate a continuous improvement philosophy and model case management practices on best practice literature and research, engaging in effective quality assurance practices and procedures.
• Apply sound professional judgment in ongoing identification and assessment of risk, with community safety as a priority.
• Contributes to planning of community-based activities and training opportunities for sex offenders.
• Contributes to identifying service gaps and developing systems or agreements to fill them.
