Job summary

JRM Hospitality in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a beachside venue with a high-volume operation.

Responsibilities

Up to $100k + Super | Sydney

An established beachside hospitality venue is looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a strong, well-structured kitchen team.

This is a high-volume operation requiring a confident senior chef who can lead large teams, maintain standards through demanding services and support the commercial performance of the kitchen.

Working closely with the Executive and Head Chef as well as senior leadership team, you will take on significant responsibility across daily operations while continuing to develop toward a future Head Chef position.

The Role

• Support the day-to-day leadership of a busy, high-volume kitchen servicing multiple outlets throughout the venue
• Lead, motivate and develop a large brigade across multiple sections
• Take ownership of service standards, consistency and kitchen organisation
• Assist with rostering, labour management and team performance
• Manage ordering, stock control, wastage and inventory

About You

You will already be operating at Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef level, ideally within a busy hotel, pub, club, restaurant group or other large-scale hospitality environment.

You will be comfortable managing significant service volumes and understand the balance between strong kitchen leadership, quality food and commercial performance.

You will bring:
